Eclectic Collection Number 32 – 2000 Fleer Miguel Tejada

The Player

Miguel Tejada was a part of the class of great shortstops in the last decade. While his career may not have been what everyone hoped, he had a strong career in the majors. Tejada was a six time all star and the 2002 AL MVP. In his career he a a .285 average, 304 home runs and 1282 RBI.

The Set

The 1998 Fleer cards is not reminiscent of any retro sets, but it rather modern with the full front photograph and modern graphics. I find this funny because it included the word tradition on the front.

The Back

To me the coolest feature in the background graphic that makes it look like the front of the team’s jersey. I wonder if the photo on the back is Tejada as it does not look like him.
