After a long search, I finally found my Frank Gifford card. Gifford was an All-American at USC and was a first round draft pick for the NY Giants in 1952. As a pro, he was an eight time pro bowl selection and a six time All Pro. He was the MVP in 1956 and was a member of the all 1950’s team. He was a running back and wide receiver as a pro. He retired once after a hit by Chuck Bednarik resulted in a severe head injury. He came back and retired for good a couple of years later. He was elected to the HOF in 1977. He became a TV star after his career ended.

While he was a player, he also made a few appearances, including this one on What’s My Line. The actress may not have known who he was, but his looks made her an instant fan!
