Complete George Brett Collection

George Brett is the single greatest player in the history of the Kansas City Royals. He won batting titles in three different decades, joined the 3000 hit club, was the heart of their only World Series title and is considered one of the greatest third baseman on all time. It was no surprise when he was inducted to the HOF on the first ballot. With the arrival of the 1979 card yesterday, I now have the entire Topps run for Brett, and here it is.

Congratulations on completing this project. I’ve been collecting over 30 years… but it’s only in the past year or so, that I decided to these “Topps run” projects. So far, I’ve built one for Steve Carlton and Thurman Munson. I’m about to chase Tony Gwynn and Rickey Henderson… but maybe I’ll go for the Brett too.
